Different Types Of Metal Roofing Materials

There are a few different types of metal roofing materials out there that can create a completely different look to your house or building. If you have a certain style you are after, then some would be better for others, however, if you are looking for the best functionality, then metal roofing is just what you need. There are three main types of metal roofing materials to consider; metal shingles, slate tiles, and vertical panels. Depending on your building type, some are better for others.

There are many metal shingles that are made to look like wood, but is really a design etched into a galvanized steel plate. They look pretty cool and authentic but they are sure to provide you with functionality and use for a long while. Many of these metal roofing tiles come with a long warranty because they are nearly indestructible. They light weight but a heavy hitter. Also, because they are steel, they are fire resistant which can be very helpful if you live in an area that is prone to wildfires and other natural disasters such as hurricanes.

Vertical paneling is one of those types of roofing materials that is used as a residential roofing material but can be if you really want. Vertical paneling is usually reserved for covering carports, barns and industrial structures that do not usually need to be heated. They are one of those roofing materials that are generally recycled and are used as a last resort or an the least expensive option. The benefits of using the vertical panels is that you can also use them for siding if you have extra, and they are really easy to clean.

The galvanized slate shingle plates are a great option if you want the most durability for your money. They are a thicker tile that holds up to almost any force. They have been double stamped for a unique look and also to hold better to materials as they are applied. With the slate roofing materials, you will most definitely get the best bang for your buck. They are designed to keep your roof looking great and protect your house.

i bought myself some galvanized slate for a great price at this manufacture, they're not only strong and durable but can hold the pressure. I did a search and found all kinds of stuff on corrugated roofing panels that will work well with this.

I was shopping for some metal roofing and found that Lowes carries corrugated roofing panels and ridge caps. That would look pretty cool with my design for a project I'm working on. I'm also looking for colored metal roofs that works aswell.
